Doctor will diagnose heart disease (HD) based on your medical and family histories, your risk factors, a physical exam, and the results from tests and procedures. No single test can diagnose CHD. If your doctor thinks you have HD, he or she may recommend one or more tests. Besides blood tests and a chest X-ray, tests to diagnose heart disease can include Echocardiogram (ECHO or ultrasound of the heart), Cardiac Sonography & Catheterization, Pediatric Interventional Cardiology Programme, Endothelial Function Evaluation, Electrophysiology test, Pediatric Angiocardiography, Myocardial biopsy , Blood culture, Hemodynamic Monitoring in Pediatric Patient Electrocardiogram (ECG), Holter monitoring, Cardiac computerized tomography (CT) scan,Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Heart MRI and Cardiovascular Imaging, Semi-supine Stress Echocardiography, Antenatal Diagnosis of Congenital Heart Diseases, Evaluation of Left Ventricular Function, Segmental Approach to Diagnose Heart Defect, Pediatric Heart Specialists, Pediatric Nuclear Cardiology & Strain Imaging Test.
